Post-Tensioning Strands and Reinforcement
Post-tensioning strands (prestressing strands) are high-strength steel wires that apply prestress force to reinforced concrete structures. Low-relaxation properties minimise long-term prestress loss.
ASZ Grup supplies 1860 MPa strands in 15.20 mm, 15.24 mm and 15.70 mm diameters. Project-specific strand lists are prepared together with our anchorage systems and post-tensioning solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should 7-wire or 19-wire strand be used?
7-wire PC strand is standard in post-tensioning applications. Other configurations may be used depending on project design.
How is strand tonnage calculated?
Total tonnage is determined from strand count, length and diameter in the tendon layout. Share your project documents for quantity take-off.
